About This Site
Service One Auto Body exists because most people only think about auto body repair after something has already gone wrong, and at that point, it is hard to evaluate quotes, understand what a shop is actually proposing, or know what questions matter. This site is built to close that gap with clear, practical explanations written before you need them.
We write about collision repair and the painting process that follows it, auto glass replacement, structural and cosmetic welding as part of body repair, and the smaller, more common fixes, headlights, tailgates, mirrors, door handles, and locks, that make up a large share of everyday auto body work.
We write for vehicle owners trying to understand a repair estimate, people comparing shops after an accident, and anyone who wants a clearer picture of what auto body work actually involves before they need it.
Service One Auto Body is an independent educational publication. We are not an auto body shop, and we do not perform repairs, painting, welding, glass installation, or accessory installation. The content here is intended for general education, not as a substitute for an in-person estimate or inspection from a qualified auto body professional.
